- Currenxie is a Hong Kong–based financial technology company licensed as an Electronic Money Institution (EMI), with regulatory authorizations in Ireland, Australia, Canada, and South Africa.
Currenxie exclusively serves business clients—including e-commerce merchants, SMEs, large enterprises, marketplaces, and platform-based businesses. Personal and sole trader accounts are not supported.
Through its Global Account platform, Currenxie provides access to virtual local bank accounts in 40+ countries, enabling seamless cross-border payments to and from over 120 countries worldwide.

- Account Types: Business Accounts only (no personal accounts)
Currencies Supported: Hold and manage 15–18 currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, HKD, JPY, AUD, CAD, SGD, CHF, NZD, CNY (CNH), DKK, NOK, SEK, IDR, etc.
Banking Services:
- Multi‑currency global account with local virtual bank details (IBAN/SWIFT/routing) in 30+ countries
- Real‑time mid‑market foreign exchange, with transparent fees (0.1–0.6%)
- Local and international payments:
- Visa business cards (physical + virtual) – one card per account, free, with ~1% cashback
- Online & mobile dashboard, with team access and role permissions
- API access for mass payments, account automation, FX and card issuing
- Integrations with Xero, Shopify, Amazon, PayPal, Stripe, Klarna, Adyen, etc
- Multi‑currency global account with local virtual bank details (IBAN/SWIFT/routing) in 30+ countries
Required Documentation for Bank Account Opening
- Business Registration Certificate / Certificate of Incorporation
- Director’s government‑issued ID/passport + proof of address
- ID/passport and proof of address for each UBO owning >25%
They may request further documents (e.g., transactional history, business plan) depending on your profile.
